Horizon BCBSNJ has updated their COVID-19 Resource Guide as of June 30, 2020.

Key updates are as follows:

• Extending the date from June 30, 2020 to August 31, 2020, for:
  • Waiving the actively at work requirement (see page 19)
  • Enabling furloughed employees to remain on a group health plan (see page 20)
  • Waiving a group’s waiting period requirement (see page 25)
• With other extensions around:
  • Extending the waiver of member cost sharing obligations for diagnosis and treatment of COVID-19
  • Extending the waiver of telemedicine cost sharing
  • Extending the date for reimbursing for covered services provided through teledentistry
