Deciphering the New Group Health Plan Requirements Under the CAA and
Transparency Regulation
Thursday June 2
9:30 AM to 10:30 AM ET
Register here.
The Consolidated Appropriations Act (CAA) and Affordable Care Act price transparency regulations created several new compliance requirements for group health plans, including new reporting and mental health parity requirements. Through our partnership with Thompson Hine, Professional Group Plans is excited to provide a webinar to help employee benefits brokers understand both the reporting and mental health parity requirements and how their employer clients will need to partner with service providers to comply. Beth Mandel and Mark Kroboth, members of Thompson Hine’s Employee Benefits & Executive Compensation team, will discuss:
- Machine readable files, which must be posted by July 1, 2022
- Prescription-drug reporting, which is due December 27, 2022
- Broker/consultant fee disclosures, which must now be provided with any new contract or renewal
- Self-service price comparison tool, which must be made available by January 1, 2023
- Nonquantitative treatment limitation (NQTL) analyses, which must currently
be in place
