Effective May 1, 2023 All Commercial Pro and Pro Plus Plans will be discontinued (except the Platinum Pro Plus Plan)
Note: This means an employer renewing 4/1/23 would receive 12 months of coverage as long as they aren’t in a discontinued Gold or Bronze Plan.
- The last date of coverage for employers with Gold Plans that were previously discontinued (10/1/22) will be 8/31/23
- The last date of coverage for employers with Bronze Plans that were previously discontinued (1/1/23) will be 11/30/23
- All other plans except Platinum Plus will be discontinued on renewal beginning 5/1/23. The last possible date of coverage will be 3/30/24

Effective May 1, 2023, all Healthfirst Commerical Pro and Pro Plus plans (except the Platinum Pro Plus Plans) will be discontinued.
How does this affect my small business clients?
Groups will not be renewed if enrolled in a discontinued plan beginning May 1, 2023. Effective May 1, 2023, the Platinum Pro Plus plan will be the only Healthfirst small group plan available.
Reminder!
Effective January 21, 2023 Healtfirst will cease marketing Commercial Pro and Pro Plus plans and will no longer allow electronic enrollment and renewals through its broker portal. You will not be able to quote or submit new business applications or process renewals on broker portals from Commerical Pro and Pro Plus plans.
