Special Open Enrollment Period
To assist members in accessing care during the COVID-19 pandemic, Healthfirst is providing members with a Special Open Enrollment. Enrollment must be received no later than April 5th for coverage effective April 1st and May 5th for coverage effective May 1st. This opportunity is limited to eligible employees who previously waived coverage. Dependents, such as spouses and children, can be added to the same coverage or benefit option as the employee. A wage and tax statement will be needed to validate the employee’s eligibility, if not currently enrolled. Standard waiting periods will be waived and coverage is effective April 1, 2020 or May 1, 2020.
Complete the Special Open Enrollment one of two ways:
- Complete an Enrollment Change Form(s) for those employees who choose to take part and send to your broker.
- Watch the quick video below on how to complete the Special Open Enrollment in the HealthPass Online Portal (HOP).
