Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey (Horizon BCBSNJ) pharmacy members now have access to a new home-delivery option from PillPack by Amazon Pharmacy, a full-service, in-network pharmacy.
PillPack by Amazon Pharmacy offers two convenient choices for ordering medicines at no additional cost. When ordered through PillPack, medicine comes either:
- Organized in pre-sorted packets so members never miss a dose. PillPack will sort a 30-day supply of medicines into user-friendly packaging based on the time of day that members take them, making it easy to know which pills to take and when. Multiple prescriptions are coordinated to be filled on the same day and packaged in their prescribed doses. It also makes it easier to bring medicines when traveling or on the go; OR
- As a 90-day supply in a bottle, which may lower members’ out-of-pocket costs.
