Horizon to Transition Commission Structure to Address Rising Health Care Costs

With the costs of health care continuing to rise in New Jersey and on a national level, and specifically in the Small Employer ACA segment, Horizon will be transitioning our commission structure from a percentage of premium to a per-contract-per-month (PCPM) payment model.

Beginning January 1, 2025, Horizon will pay $56 per contract, per month on all new and renewing Small Employer ACA business. All Small Employer ACA groups (both new and existing) will transition to this model on January 1, 2025.
