COVID-19 Resource Guide Update as of June 28, 2021

As you know, Horizon has expanded coverage and adjusted business practices to help our members and customers during New Jersey’s COVID-19 public health emergency, and State of Emergency. Many of the expansions and accommodations are described in the COVID-19 Resource Guide. Key updates as of June 28, 2021, include:

• Clarification of the end date for the member cost share waiver for diagnostic testing
• An update on New Jersey’s law affecting Workers’ Compensation benefits and COVID-19 treatment for essential workers
• Clarification of the end date for the member cost share waiver for covered services provided through telemedicine
• Confirmation that certain administrative accommodations will end June 30, 2021, while others will continue through the end of New Jersey’s State of Emergency
• An update to COBRA continuation and New Jersey Group Continuation (NJGC) premiums, as required by the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA)
