Oxford has advised that some Oxford LIBERTY plan members affiliated with 1/1/22 renewals for NY (100+) and NJ (51+) Large Groups received a communication in error advising them that CVS is out of network effective 1/1/22. This was an error. This change is for Small Group Liberty Members only. Members should disregard the letter. Oxford has apologized for any confusion this may have caused. They are taking steps to correct their protocols for future mailings. Oxford’s Members Service has been briefed on the issue and will reassure large group members to disregard the letter. Oxford has prepared the draft notice below that can be sent to employers if needed. |

**Draft Letter For Employers** We mailed a letter this month in error to some of your employees who use a CVS pharmacy, telling them the pharmacy is no longer participating in the network for your Oxford plan. Please inform your covered employees to disregard the letter. We apologize for any confusion it may have caused and are taking steps to correct our protocols for future mailings. Your employees may continue to use a CVS pharmacy for their prescriptions under their current plan and receive network benefits. Your employees may call us at the phone number on their health plan ID card if they have any questions. Thank you for your understanding and continued business. |
