RESIDENTIAL PSEG Long Island Customers can now save a Guaranteed 10% on their entire PSEG Long Island electric bill.

I personally have been enrolled in this project for about 6 months and I have already saved several hundred dollars. It is working exactly as advertised and is a Home Run in my opinion.

How it Works: There are developers that build solar farms, battery storage facilities and community fuel cell projects, to name a few, and all these projects are green-friendly and help the state get to their green-energy renewable goals.
The state and utilities work with the developers to give customers discounts on their
electric bills, if they sign up to use the electricity that these projects generate.
There are however limited spots for each project. Once all the spots are filled then that project is closed for new enrollees. Having said that, new projects are opening up on a semi-regular basis.
If you decide to enroll in one of the projects it is important to know:
- Customers are Guaranteed to Save 10% Off of their Entire PSEG LI Electric Bill.
- Customers will receive two bills going forward. One from PSEG for the basic service charges and one from Community Power LI for their electric charges.
- Customers must sign up for ACH or with a Credit Card for their charges with Community Power LI. No finance charges for Credit Card payments and you earn points!
- Customer can cancel at any time with 60 day notice.
- RESIDENTIAL Accounts Only – The initial term of the contract is for 12 months. Your contract will be automatically renewed for up to 24 one-year renewals. If you are currently enrolled in Budget Billing you will converted to pay as you go under this program.
There are currently 2 projects that are open in Long Island. One in Holtsville and one in Setauket. You do not have to live in those towns to take advantage of this. As long as your account is with PSEG LI, you are good!
